Different people have different needs, as does each kitty. Choose whichever length of time is best suited for you. We provided some details on which to choose depending on the circumstances.
Please note, you can ALWAYS mix and match visits. If you need 20 minute visits in the morning but feel like they need extra time in the evening depending on diet and cleaning, you can easily make note of that in the meet and greet form.

20 Minutes Visit - $25
Purrfect for
Skittish cats: Cats that we will likely never see, whether we want to say hi or not. We have two of these and know that unless they know that person a lot, they are under a bed for at least two hours once someone new has entered the house. Usually just a pop in, feed, change water, and check litter. We like to always see if we can see them once but doesn’t always happen.
Simple cats: These are cats that don’t need a lot of interaction, they get fed and generally want to be left alone or couldn’t care less about my existence when we arrive.
40 Minutes Visit - $40
Purrfect for
Larger groups: 3 or more cats that all need separate feeding, especially with wet food. Could be one needs to be locked up for their diet, bowls need to be cleaned from wet food, multiple litters, and still the desire to interact with at least some of them.
Fussy cats: These could be cats that are picky or slow eaters, and there is a need to make sure they eat their food. I have one cat that is consistently needing assistance to be fed due to health issues so feeding can range from a few minutes to 15 minutes of simply watching and helping them. When feeding time takes that much effort, and there is still more to do in the house for the visit, this is what we recommend.
Medications: We provide limited medication assistance, and we will ALWAYS ask when, where, and how you provide them for this. Once that is done, we always recommend 40 minutes minimum as even my own cats give me trouble sometimes when providing medication. They always get it, but they can get squirmy and some even aggressive when trying to do so. Because of this, 20 minutes will rarely cut it for me to MAKE SURE they get it each visit. We will never leave without making sure they get it.
Anxious/lonely cats: These are cats that get scared or alone when their owner is gone. While feeding and general house stuff may go fast, they may need some extra attention and play time each visit. If you feel you have one of those, feel free to choose this one.
Aggressive cats: Similar to skittish ones, and if your cat is both aggressive AND skittish, the skittish probably wins and this is not needed. But if your cat will make it a battle to get to the food, be unkind to me cleaning their litterboxes, or just general make the work difficult, this may be the one for you.
Lots of house chores: Less about the cats, but if you have a bunch of fish to feed, plants to water, or other things to take care of that need to be done in addition to the cat care, we recommend the 40 minutes.
60 Minutes - $55
Purrfect for
Any mixtures of the recommendations above: Lots of house chores and medications for the cat? This may be the choice for you. Fussy and a lot of cats? 60 minutes may be the best option.
Cats and Critters: If you have cats and critters to check on, we usually recommend the 40 minute minimum and often the 60 minute preferred. This is to make sure we can dedicate at least 30 minutes to both groups, so they each get an actual visit.
